KIBE (Kijana Imarika Bonga Elimika) is a one (1) year project (2020) funded by Population Connection through their sister organization population connection Action Fund and seeks to address the SRH outcomes of adolescents and young people in the marginalized areas of Jomvu and Changamwe sub-counties which will in turn contribute to a healthy population of adolescents and young people in Mombasa County.
The project reached a total of 773 (251 males 522 females) adolescents and young people throughout its implementation period. The beneficiaries were reached through community youth villages, community dialogue, international days, policy makers meeting and The Girl summit event. As a result, these activities built the capacities of the adolescents and young people hence giving them the synergy to advocate for their sexual reproductive health rights.
