At Stretcher Youth Organization, we are committed to empowering and uplifting diverse groups within our society, including adolescents, young people, vulnerable youth, women, and marginalized individuals. With a focus on both in-school and out-of-school adolescents and young people, we strive to understand their unique challenges and aspirations. Through our tailored programs, we provide opportunities that address their specific needs, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive and achieve their full potential, regardless of their circumstances.

For over 13 years, Stretchers Youth Organization has empowered Kenyan youths through transformative initiatives in health, governance, and human rights. As a community-driven organization, we champion sexual and reproductive health, mental health awareness, and inclusivity while fostering active citizenship and equality.

Our advocacy efforts contributed to: Mombasa County Assembly approving a motion seeking the County Executive to allocate funds in its annual budget (FY 2023-2024) to finance the procurement of sanitary towels for young women and girls within the County

Mombasa County Government Department of Public Service Administration Youth, Gender Social Services and Sports allocated a budget (KES 5,000,000) for the provision of Sanitary Pads in the Mombasa County Integrated Development Plan 2023-2027 and KES 1,000,000 in Annual Development Plan 2023-2024 Financial Year

Mombasa County Department of Finance and Appropriation Committee allocate funds (KES 14,000,000) to establish 6 Small business development centres across the entire Mombasa County in the Mombasa County Integrated Development Plan 2023-2027
